Solitary Sorcerer
A simple action arcade roguelike where you play as a wizard with an enormous laser beam. Fighting off hoards of enemies in his never ending quest to be alone.
!!! If you experience a lot of lag staying in places you have already been reduces it a lot!!!
This game was made for the Brackeys Game Jam 2022.2 with the theme you're not alone. In this game you play as a wizard that wished he was alone but isn't. But to be honest I focused more on juice than the theme.

The first time I shot was so satisfying, like "I HAVE A MEGA LASER"
The pixel art is really smooth and the laser / splatter effects are super satisfying! The roguelike upgrade feature is nice as well. I think it would've been interesting to have the camera slowly zoom out and have a maximum arena size so you feel more "confined" inside with the enemies, because it's easy to keep running infinitely in one direction and avoid larger groups of enemies.
Thx, yeah a confined are would have been smart.
This was the game I was most excited out of all the ones whose progress was shared in the discord server, and I was right to assume that this game would be fun, Great job!
